The Truly Wicked TikTok Famous Murderer

Hello, and Welcome Back My Fellow Fascinated Fantasizer's!

Today's case is one that is truly perplexing and disturbing! Yun Mi Hoy is a mother who was barbarically murdered, with 79 stab wounds to her face, neck, and torso, but the actual most disturbing part is that her murderer was her very own 18 year old daughter.

Isabella Guzman had been a troubled little girl since childhood, and her relationship with her parents was even more troubled. Isabella always had issues with her parents and they never seemed to see eye to eye. Things were specifically very bad between her and her mother, so much so that after her parents divorce, Isabella's behavior towards her mom was so bad, that Yun Mi Hoy had to send her to live with her father at just 7 years old.

Later on, Isabella eventually went back to live with her mother, but their relationship continued to be just as bad as it was before. Even after getting divorced, her parents continued to work together at a studio, which they had brought while being married. Isabella had occasionally gone to help out at the studio, but she despised the job, and she also hated her mother for continuing to work at the studio. This was because, although her mother was very passionate about her job, the studio didn't pay very well, and Isabella hated being poor and blamed her mother for their money troubles.

Even as she grew older she never understood that her mother had always been trying her hardest to secure the things she needed, but Isabella always wanted more. She continued to resent her mother for not being able to afford to get her everything that the other kids had, and as she grew older her tantrums translated into rebellious and reckless decisions. At school, Isabella's attendance was getting very bad until she stopped going altogether, and eventually she dropped out just two weeks before her finals exams.

Although Yun Mi was always trying her best with her daughter, Isabella continued to be ungrateful and disrespectful towards her mother and she grew into her teenage years the fights between her and Yun Mi were getting much worse. This was because she was constantly doing things like sneaking out and sneaking boys into her mothers house, and when her mother would confront her, Isabella would snap back in the most hostile and disrespectful way.

Isabella also resented her mother because she had gotten married again, and she felt like her mother was replacing her father. After her stepfather, Ryan Hoy, entered the picture, things got even worse, because Isabella's arguments escalated with both of them, so much so that she often times even resorted to spitting on her mother in retaliation. Not only that, but Isabella had even started making violent threats to her mother, constantly telling her she'll make her pay, and Yun Mi was genuinely scared of her daughter to the point that she once called the police on her.

On the evening of her tragic murder, Yun Mi had actually called Isabella's biological father down to their house to come talk to Isabella because she just couldn't deal with her anymore. After a long discussion that night, in which her father had tried convincing Isabella to be more respectful towards her mother, he had left the house feeling as though he'd finally gotten through to his daughter. Yet, he was very wrong, because Isabella had just been putting on an act, and she had actually been at the time planning her next move, which she would be putting into action in a matter of hours after her father left.

Later that night, Isabella had been in her room when her mother had told Ryan that she would be taking a shower before they go to bed. Ryan had been sitting downstairs watching TV while waiting on his wife, when he heard a thud coming from upstairs, followed by lots of commotion and banging. So he ran upstairs to see whats going on, when he see's Isabella slamming the door shut and locking it with only her and her mother inside. Ryan repeatedly tried banging on door and calling to Isabella to leave her mother alone, but all he could hear was lots of thuds and banging, while Yun Mii screamed his name for help.

To his dismay, he couldn't get the door unlocked or convince Isabella to open it, so he immediately called the police for help. Yet, before they could get there, Ryan saw a pool of blood slowly start leaking out the bathroom door, and he heard his wife mutter her last words, "God," before Isabella swung the bathroom door opened and walked right past him totally unfazed by what had just happened. To his horror, Isabella was covered in blood and holding a knife, while his wife was laying on the bathroom floor naked, laying in her own blood, and barely recognizable.

Yun Mi had suffered 79 stab wounds to her face, neck, torso, and many injuries to her chest using a baseball bat. It was then very obvious that Isabella had made this decision out of pure rage, wanting to inflict the most pain she could on her mother. When the police got a hold of her, Isabella was taken in for questioning and a physiological evaluation, which later concluded that she suffered from schizophrenia. She claimed that she heard voices in her head, and that she had believed that night that her mother was a woman named Cecilia, whom she had to kill to save the world.

Isabella Guzman's court appearances though, are what brought this case lots of attention, especially on TikTok. Her court appearances started going viral due to the eerie way she was acting; she would constantly smile sarcastically and communicate with the cameras, and it was these clips posted on TikTok that gained her a sick fanbase. There were people recreating her looks, making fan edits, and editing songs like 'Sweet But Psycho' onto clips of her trial. Isabella was being idolized for her looks online, and people were constantly commenting about how pretty she was and how they thought she was probably innocent.

In her trial, Isabella's team had made an insanity plea, and instead of potentially getting put up for the death penalty, she was sentenced to an indefinite amount of time at the Colorado mental health institute. At 25, she had tried to appeal this decision, claiming that she had gotten better and that she was ready to integrate back into society, but her appeal was since denied.

So, this brings us to the end of today's truly disturbing true crime story, my fellow fascinated fans. Don't forget to share and comment on this post, and also let me know other cases that you find truly wicked!
